Koivu + nahka-alunen

Hung it on the wall when I’m not cooking, and it’s honestly a little piece of art—the birch balls look warm against the leather strap. But it works great as a trivet too, and the strap is softer than I expected, so no scratches on my table.

Used it as a trivet for a heavy cast-iron pan and the birch balls didn’t leave a single mark on my table. The leather strap is snug and makes hanging it on the wall between uses a nice touch. Just wish it came in a bigger size for larger pots, but for everyday meals it’s perfect.

The birch balls are beautifully smooth and the leather strap adds a nice touch of warmth. I've hung it on the wall when it's not in use, and it doubles as a great little trivet for hot pots.
