The wavy cork surface drains beautifully and keeps the bar from sitting in a puddle, which my old dish never managed. It's lightweight but feels sturdy enough for daily use, and the natural texture actually looks pretty nice next to the sink.

Soap actually stays put now instead of sliding off the edge every time I wash my hands, and the natural cork drains water fast enough that the bar dries between uses. The handmade feel is obvious in the little wavy edges, which look way cuter in person than in the photos.
