The grain on this one is gorgeous, and the darker walnut really does hide the tomato stains from my sauce spoon. It's been sitting on my counter for two weeks now and already starting to get that nice, lived-in patina. Carved by hand, you can see the little tool marks up close, which I actually love
This thing has been through hell with my pasta spoon and it still looks beautiful, just a little darker where it's been touched. It's solid enough that I don't worry about it tipping over, and the walnut feels warm and smooth under my hand.
