The weight and balance are spot-on for a traditional Spanish blade, and the boxwood handle feels warm and secure in my hand. It arrived razor-sharp out of the box and held its edge through a full week of prep without needing a strop.

I was a bit nervous buying a knife from a traditional maker sight unseen, but the boxwood handle fits my hand like it was carved for it. You can feel the history in the craftsmanship, and it’s razor sharp right out of the box.
