These have a nice heft to them, way more solid than the flimsy ones I've been replacing, and the wood grain on each piece is genuinely distinct. I bought them as a gift but honestly might keep a few for my own baking.

I was slightly worried they’d feel flimsy, but the beechwood is dense and solid in the hand, and each one really does look hand-carved. They’re perfect for mixing stiff doughs without bending. My friend the baker is getting a set for her birthday.

These things are hefty and beautifully grained, you can tell each one is actually carved by hand. The beechwood is smooth with no rough edges, and having thirteen means I can just leave them in the big crock on the counter.
